AWS Project 1 - Apache and wordpress website installed on an ec2 instance

This project demonstrates the implementation of the following skills: EC2, Linux, MYSQL, Security Groups

AWS Project 2 -

This project demonstrates the addition of a 2 new EBS storage volume in the eu-west-2 region via the aws CLI

and the transfer via the CLI of a file from one s3 bucket in London region to another s3 bucket in any choosen region

including the creation via the cli of the second bucket

Demo of AWS S3 cli skills available on request as demo cannot be uploaded but can be demonstrated on request

AWS Project 3 -

Demo of AMI creation of Wordpress server - with a different public IP address and both ephermal storage and

additional S3 storage attached

AWS Project 4 -

S3 EBS volume added, partitoned and persistence added via fdisk, volume mounted and is ready to go

Same as above, Demo available - must be demonstrated to understand. Skills sed - Primarily Linux command line

AWS Project 5 -

Look at this diagram1. It illustrates the following setup

RDS, Wordpress on an ec2 instance, private subnets, public subnets, VPC, security and an ALB to face the internet

AWS Project 6 -

This project is a web server running nginx on an ec2 instance inside a public subnet which is inside a VPC running an internet Gateway

AWS Project 7 -

MY ec2 instances are switched off automatically and without my intervention at 10pm uk time and start up at 7am UK time and also at weekends - mostly to save money

This involves the use of Amazon AWS Eventbridge and some python code. Testing presented a few challenges, but once its up and running

at zero cost - its absolutely thrilling and fantastic

AWS Project 8 -

Terraform code to build VPC and subnets plus a route table and route table associations. And an internet gateway and ec2

instance added. All teared downed automatically at night and reassembled at 7am-GMT and down over the weekend. COST -£0.00GBP How's that
